Help for Winter Skin

Your skin is going through a lot these days: โ€œIn addition to โ€˜maskne,โ€™ the winter season itself can wreak havoc on your skin, making it dry, itchy, and irritated,โ€ says Colleen Rothschild, founder of Colleen Rothschild Beauty. Rothschild, who has worked in the beauty industry for more than 20 years and launched her own brand in 2012, offers this routine for combating mask- related breakouts:

Make sure your mask, and skin, are always clean. โ€œAs soon as you can remove your mask, you need to wash your face. Donโ€™t wait,โ€ she says. โ€œUse the Radiant Cleansing Balm to help remove all the dirt and grime from the day, then follow with the matcha tea treatment toner to help fight bacteria and balance the skin. Lastly, apply our Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum, a gentle yet highly effective alpha hydroxy acid, to gently exfoliate and refine skin texture.โ€ And for hydrated winter skin, try her Colleen cocktail: โ€œPlace a dollop of our Extreme Recovery Cream into the palm of your hand, then pump a few drops of our nourishing Face Oil No. 9 on top of it. Massage together, then apply all over your face, neck and chest,โ€ she advises.
