Beachcomber Cocktail

After a long, hot day walking on soft sand, retreat to your beach bar and mix up this citrusy take on Donn Beach’s Daiquiri.  

Ingredients

SERVES 1

  • 2 oz (60 ml) white rum
  • ²⁄³  oz (20 ml) orange curaçao
  • ²⁄³  oz (20 ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ¼ oz (7.5 ml) maraschino cherry liqueur (or juice) 
  • ¼ teaspoon Sugar syrup (below) 
  • orange wheel and maraschino cherry, for garnish

Directions

  1. Combine the ingredients (except the garnish) in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake.
  3. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with an orange wheel and a maraschino cherry.
