On Display at RPAC Gallery

Early in the pandemic, artist Guy Stanley Philoche, understanding the impact it would have on the art world, posted to Instagram for people to show him their art— because he was looking to buy. “I felt I could do my small part and give back to the industry that I love and that has given me my life, so I put a call out, and the response was overwhelming,” he says, having, with his collectors, purchased some $250,000 worth of art to date. And now, Philoche, along with Dee Dee Perrone Colabella, owner and director of the RPAC Gallery in Ridgefield, CT, is extending that effort even further, by showcasing his collection, featuring 19 artists, in an exhibit that runs from September 16 through October 17 at RPAC Gallery.

“I hope that people continue to support artists. I already know the artists are brilliant; now everyone else will get to see it as well,” he says. Colabella adds,“Guy has helped artists not only by purchasing their work, but also by helping them get the exposure in professional galleries such RPAC Gallery. As Ridgefield has recently been named Connecticut’s first cultural district, we are particularly proud to introduce these incredible artists to our community.”
