2017 American Gold Cup: World-Class Show Jumping in North Salem

Celebrating over four decades of equestrian excellence, the historic American Gold Cup showcased an international field of world-class athletes as well as exciting family friendly entertainment over the course of five days, September 13โ€“17, in the heart of scenic North Salem, New York, at Old Salem Farm.

More than 5,400 fans were in attendance for the American Gold Cupโ€™s grand finale on Sunday, September 17, where Devin Ryan and Eddie Blue of the United States triumphed. The popular show jumping event annually attracts a star-studded field of horses and athletes, including Olympic champions, and features high-end shopping, family-friendly activities, live music and more.

โ€œThank you to Morrissey Management Group and everyone at Old Salem Farm,โ€ said two-time U.S. Olympic gold medalist, runner-up of the 2017 American Gold Cup and New York native, McLain Ward. โ€œWe all love the American Gold Cup. This is my hometown and I am very proud to have this event here.โ€
