MGBW and Serendipity Host an Intimate Dinner with Chef Rui Correia

Chef Rui Correiaโ€™s celebrated Portuguese cuisine took center stage at an intimate, seated dinner, hosted by Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams and Serendipity on April 12 at the home furnishings company’s Greenwich, CT store. Correia, owner of Douro Restaurant & Bar in Greenwich, CT and Gaia Restaurant, also in Greenwich, has worked with some of New York Cityโ€™s most acclaimed chefs, including Tom Colicchio at Gramercy Tavern, Bobby Flay at Mesa Grill and Danny Meyer at Union Square Cafรฉ. During the event, guests enjoyed several of Correia’s specialties, including a beet salad with fresh ricotta and candied pistachios, a seafood Bolognese, chicken paillard with pickled vegetables and a raspberry and lemon sorbet affogato. Each course was expertly paired with a fine Portuguese wine. The event also featured floral designs by Green of Greenwich Custom Florals and Events.
