Puppies Behind Bars Holds Cocktail Party to Raise Awareness For War Veterans

It was an evening of cocktails, shopping and live music at Lโ€™Armoire womenโ€™s boutique in New Canaan, CT, helped raise $9,000 for Puppies Behind Bars. Baldanza Organic Cafรฉ and New Canaan Wine Merchants provided refreshments. โ€œBy hosting a cocktail for our work, Lโ€™Armoire has reminded us once again of the long-term consequences, and responsibilities, of war,โ€ said Gloria Gilbert Stoga, founder and president of Puppies Behind Bars. The organization trains inmates to raise service dogs for wounded war veterans and explosive-detection canines for law enforcement.
