Antique hand-hewn beams and barn siding were fitted with new matching oak storage racks in this 250-square-foot cellar on the basement level of a French Normandy-style residence in Greenwich, CT. Several thousand bottles can be stored here, with areas for standard, magnum and jerobaum bottle storage, as well as space for crates. Designer Claudia Kalur created this clean, modern kitchen in South Kent, CT, for a young family who divides time between New York City and Litchfield County. The home is set on eight acres overlooking Greer Mountain. The countertops are Carrara marble and the range and hood are by Wolf. This breezy outdoor space is part of an original 1930s home in New Canaan, CT, which was 80 percent gutted and underwent a deep rehab. A new slate roof and timber façade with stucco wrap forms the stately exterior. For this kitchen facing the Long Island Sound in Greenwich, CT, designer Lee Ann Thornton chose an array of rich blues to provide a coastal feel. The kitchen island is painted in Farrow & Ball’s Down Pipe, while all other kitchen cabinetry is in Benjamin Moore’s White Dove. A Nantucket Live-in Kitchen

During the process of gutting this Nantucket house, designer Karli Stahl and her husband (a local builder) lifted and moved it forward 100 feet so they were able to complete this great room/kitchen addition.
