The J House Greenwich, Greenwich: While all the rooms at this modern hotel are well-appointed and high-tech, consider their suites, some of which come with private patios, work spaces (weekday getaway, anyone?) and kitchenettes.
The Brenton Hotel, Newport, RI: Just opened in July, this hotel is right on the water, and the floor-to-ceiling windows are a great way to take it in. So is their Garden Roof Top, which offers games and incredible views.
